------------------------------

Darkness has transformed
To a moon lit night,
And stars are twinkling
With their radiant light.

The sights and sounds
And the aroma too,
Overwhelms the senses
Like a delicious brew.

The rustle of leaves,
Caused by a gentle breeze,
That gently caresses them,
The senses, do tease.

Heard are the love filled calls
Of birds of the night.
And fluttering of wings
As they quietly take flight.

The smell of roses,
Entice without refrain.
Their aroma enhanced
By a recent rain.

And in the night,
Like in a dream,
There stands a cabin
Near a rolling stream.

And within this dwelling
Is a dim lit room
So elegantly befitting
Any bride and groom.

Through an open curtain,
A round moon of gold,
Can clearly be seen.
Shining bright, but not so bold.

So cooling to the skin,
A breeze soft and serene
Is felt coming through
The thin window screen.

This, and a lit candle
On a sturdy night stand,
Cause shadows to move
Like the shifting of sand.

On the walls of the room,
So gracefully they dance,
To the beating of a heart
And a man's silent glance.

In a not so lit corner,
He sits almost unseen
In a soft plush chair,
Taking in a wondrous scene.

Silently He does gaze
At a heavenly sight.
One that he has not seen,
'Till this glorious night.

For there, before him,
On a four post bed
Lays a beautiful woman
With hair of radiant red.

The satin that attires her
Makes her seem so delicate,
And the smell of her essence
Is so sensually exquisite.

And while she sleeps,
He hears her moan
And breathe a sigh
In a soft sweet tone.

He sees her slowly move
And her charms, she can't hide,
For she is facing him
As she now lies on her side.

Her soft tender hand,
She does fondly place
Beneath her soft pillow,
Pulling it towards her face.

And in that instant,
With such beauty and grace,
A smile can be seen
Upon her lovely face.

He smiles with joy
And nods his head,
For he vividly remembers
What had been said.

She had lovingly said
That sleep would fetch her,
With her thoughts filled
With a certain picture.

And in reply he had said
That when to sleep she had gone,
He would sit and watch her do
Exactly what she had just done.

So carefully hidden emotions
Suddenly seem to come alive,
And his joy and happiness
On this seem to thrive.

He feels his love growing
In his heart so deep,
As he sits and watches her
Smiling, in her sleep.

No

Not quite a journal dump twelveoone. In fact, what it is... is an exquisite memory of a wondrous night spent with a very beautiful woman.

However, I can see where one might mistake it as a journal dump.

Sincerely,
