Wallowing in self pity, I
mourn her lost beauty.
Waking from dreams,
drenched in sweat and semen
groaning her name
on the hottest day of the year.

First day of summer,
she was so coolly beautiful;
but I was the snowman
and became water in her presence.

Thinking I could not be destroyed,
for she had rendered me invincible,
I stood up on my little ice feet
and dared the sun to kiss me.
And by God, he did, that sunuvabitch!
