You keep your awareness honed...
You keep your eye on the waves, the Sail, the Wind, your Mates....
You look out for them,,
trusting that they'll watch out for you....
You keep your awareness sharp,, reading Nature....
On a broad reach to the "Snug Harbour" of your dreams...
You read the squalls, watch the birds,,,
knowing the Frigate rides on unseen air..
And you become good at it..
Become one with it..
Your head automatically ducks as the boom swings across and you settle into a new Tack..
You are a dancer in the Winds Ballet,,,
the Currents Symphony...
It is all a part, of some grand plan,, some smiling scheme,,, that presents to you your Best friend,,,,
"Yourself"!!!
Actualization creeps in,,, slowly...
Like a cup of Tea that warms your hands..
For every Sea of Upheaval,
there is a Starry night by yourself,,,
in which you meet the great judge...
And She judges you...
Along with the Jury of yourself..
And the verdict is realized,,,
the warmth of it in Knowing....
You ARE self assured,,,
Trustworthy,,,
Honest!!
And you sentence yourself,,,
to a life of Sunrises,
Rainstorms,
and maybe even a Kitten or two...
And you relax,,, and enjoy the Sail home...
The answer to the Great question,,
is not the destination,,,,
but the Journey Itself..........
