The Spirit

The Spirit is within us all
From the moment we are created

We look to those we love
To nurture and protect us

And yet they may struggle to see
What the Spirit meant us to be

We rebel and we revise
Constantly adapting ourselves

Never really finding peace
Or any sense of belonging

The Spirit gives us strength
Pushing us to just survive

Then one day a window opens
Sparkling light upon the Soul

The smile of the special One
Brings a sense of contentment

So much to learn
So much to discover

Her journey of submission begun
Every moment fresh and new

Within His strong arms
Her world is safe

Within His Spirit
She has found the peace
