She started dancing harmlessly,
gyrations proud and true.
A vision of beauty for all to see,
men clapped when she was through.

But lust soon dims that dance devine,
to sully what once was pristine.
Men paw and steal her pride in time,
her heart grows cold under body's sheen.

With this heart that has grown cold,
the dance shall lose its beauty.
And with this loss her soul is sold,
her concience is set free.

She turns to the drug that eases pain,
to help her through the night.
Succumbed to siren's song cocaine,
her spirit does take flight.

FIrst stripped of clothing then her pride,
why is it she won't learn?
Without her pride she'll be cast aside,
and another will take her turn.
