The succubus and the skeleton key,
Finding out, they're finding me,
They search and they look,
They scour every nook,
But no, they'll never see.

I'm hiding alone, and they're seeking,
I can't look, forbade from peeking,
Where did they go?
They're gone, oh, no!
I can't have the havoc they are wreaking!

I was found, I'm out, I have been caught,
They've found the treasure they had sought,
Deep within the caves of cages,
They found the prison of the ages,
Tragedy, horrid, will be wrought.

I am tied down, strapped up, beaten scarlet,
I'm given nothing, like I'm the harlot,
A crown of thorns,
My head adorns,
And I'm taken though I've fought.

I'm staked through hands and slashed through heart,
I'm up in squalor and torn apart,
Waving above like a flag,
A martyr of the royal stag,
I'm not done yet, it's just the start.

For one to practice what he preaches,
He must listen to what he teaches,
For if he lets his motives wander,
He'll end up with only his own squander,
Ruining all the dreams he reaches.

It's difficult to let it go,
Harder still to let it show,
But you should know,
That the wind shall blow,
Even when no breath bestows. . .
