I went back and found this poem. I admire it. Its reads like lines from a chorus of a greek Tragedy. They too had their endless wars and endless widows and no families and no children to be born.
about this, a truth, an honesty, a POV I have never read in prose before. I liked it, only one spot, I question the wording, or maybe the punctuation.
"not for them husbands"...
however, still an excellent piece. love the voice, good work
