I am going to find you a copy of the Piano Concerto No. 1 in D Minor by Brahms,
and one for me as well, with the hope that now and then,
as our lives continue to unravel, there will be times we are both listening,
you in San Francisco and me in Dallas, and when we do creative sparks will fly,
we won't know why but they will, and deep inside as we listen
it becomes quite obvious as the secret reveals itself.

So when I hang my shoulders you will sob, and when you
thrust a fist into the air I will shout in triumph,
and we will listen and smile as many memories fill our heads,
and together, my friend, we will rejoice and weep,
with the tears and laughter we share.

chop. chop, chop

either prose or poetry Steve, you make the choice, too prosey for poetry, not enough poetry for prose - fist in the air - could use a little more of that.

A prose oriented piece, sure to appeal to everyone's romantic streak.
