He stole into her castle, a thief crept thru the night,
He stole up to her bedside where she lay breathing light;
Your father is dead, he whispered,
Your mother has been killed,
Your husband is dead, he whispered,
The father of your child,
Now would I steal your maidenhood,
Shall we sleep as one tonight?
I shall be gone by morning,You may never see me again,
Would you whisper for this hour, come to me loverman?
And she said yes and he said yes
As they stole each other’s lips,
He touched her legs, he touched her arms,
He kissed her fingertips,
He touched again the wonderous womb,
He stole her breasts and hips,
Consumed her eyes, her hands, her feet
And lived with every touch,
He laughed again for life and love
And gently touched her death.
Their thighs they sought each other, their navels were as one,
He touched her hair so softly, and darkness it was gone:
A thief walked on his left hand, murder on the right,
And when she looked into his eyes, she found the dawn of light.
