When You are happy and life goes good
and love and life is going just as it should,
why keep old flames close to your heart?
Perhaps to let them weasel their way back into their part?
Or is it to remember old love once had,
to torment and resent every moment now sad?
Why torture an already tortured soul?
Have I not already paid said toll?
