across the room
like often before
this time you're aloof
like you're not really sure

I look at you there
transfixed in my mind
you wonder my interest
because you're so kind

you're wrapped in a towel
and drying so slow
I should stop
this much we both know

when you look back seeming stern
and shake so I'll stop
I can't I just can't
in case something should drop

instead nothing does
but surprise me you do
looking straight at my face
you open up to my view

now, you're a woman
so beautiful and true
I've seen all that you have
and I wonder what you could do

it's all very bad
and I know you disagree
but that doesn't stop me
from wanting again to see

many nights I'll dream
and take you there
alone and a woman
open and bare

it won't matter
what's right or what's wrong
just that I'm with you
you feeling me there strong

over you and in you
want you to know
I'm going to make you smile
I'm going to make you glow

I picture us afterwards
no one else aware
but knowing each other better
and you wanting me there

your smile your look
we both know that grin
once I've taken you
it'll surely happen again
