Perfection, gone unnoticed, at least until there was I
Sending me visions every time I sleep
Every time I close my eyes

You have been gone for some time now
I saw you ride away into the night
It still bewilders me greatly how
My legs held up long enough to watch you ride out of sight

Clenching my fists, holding it back
Praying for you to turn around
Until there was only night, just the black
No bike, no lights, no sound

Never once, spoke a single harsh word
Not an ounce of regret within
No hate, mistrust, or anger heard
But there I was crying again

I collapsed, into a heap on the driveway
How could you just leave?
You just sat there silent, no words, didn’t you have anything to say?

What we had was perfect, no flaw in its design
How could you just walk away?
How could you love me and now you’re leaving me behind?

It wasn’t as if you moved away, or left me and I just cried
You taught me how to feel everything,
It felt like you fucking died

In this life, what if we have one chance, one path we’re meant to take
Put in front of our eyes, the things that we must do
If that’s the case, you didn’t listen, even for chances sake
And when you left me,you took my one chance too

Every dream from which I awake, having spent time with you
My heart breaks again and again
The agony of dreaming was something I never knew

I cannot believe you could not see it, blind to what we had
I figured it out,I saw, it was clear
But then you walked away; how sad.
