A tunnel entrance clothed in lilacs beckons me
Alluring fragrances flow from it’s mouth
Carried on warm wisps of air envelop me
Enticed and aroused I entered
My desire to sink into her depths
Inside I move
slowly silently cautiously
caressing the walls
as they sensuously wind before me
moist and moss covered
I peek into the nooks and crannies along the way
Each one holds new wonders
Titillating treasures naked pleasures
Fresh and forbidden
Lured by curiosity and longing
I forge ahead
Light abandons me
Darkness consumes me
Sight deserts me
I stumble and fall
into a chasm deep and dank
body mangled mind twisted
death’s chill drapes me
and there is no escape
from the cellar of my soul
