the voice in my ear, rumbling low like a freight train heading straight through my soul.
the timbre of it like the growl of a lion after the kill, sleep in the high heat, savage and sated. deep round octaves rippling like dark midnight velvet on skin, like a tongue swirling round my ears, sliding down my throat.
words brushing collarbone, nipples, belly; cool blue lightning flicking, teasing with each word you utter.

eyes closed, ear to receiver, hands outstretched in the dark, palms open wide, fingertips tracing your features in the blackness.
gliding over your brow, tremulously pausing at eyes bluer than the deep sea, as fiery as the most precious sapphire. nostrils flaring with desire, full sensual lips soft, yet demanding, the portal through which that rich chocolate voice emanates; pursing, trying to capture ravenous digits sliding down your chin, neck, chest.

seeing you standing in the deep silence of the night, my hands become yours, instruments of exploration and fulfillment, every touch finding new bliss, each stroke of a palm calming some craving, quieting some unrequited longing. your voice ringing in my mind, body aching to be filled, ears sizzling with each resplendent, languorous syllable you form.

the air in the room becomes heavy, viscous like honey, making each breath drawn a sweet, delicious labour, each inhalation in slow motion, fever welling up inside waiting to explode, boil over.

every work you speak now hissing like steam, each consonant crisp and demanding like the crack of a bullwhip, your arousal flitting like the tongue of a snake, tasting , smelling; judging the condition of your prey, waiting for just the right moment to spring.

the frenzy escalates, fingers moving furiously at the points of my satisfaction, spurred by your sweet, vicious voice, pushing, purring and finally breaking as your own hunger overtakes and you begin to tumble into oblivion. Calling my name, frantic whisperings of your impending peak spark me, tongues of your fire slither and slide across an already overloaded mind, causing me to succumb, capitulate and acquiesce to the demands of your moans and sighs.

lying in the darkness, body trembling, quivering at the strength of your desire, flying further and further away, only to touch down over and over again as you cry out in agonised delirium, minds connecting across the distance, souls joined in the flight of hunger, longing, need fulfilled.

murmured goodnights, wishes for sweet dreams exchanged, the click of the handset settling in its cradle, the electronic purr of a connection closed, but not broken over the miles of black night sky that separate us.
