"Touch it" I said
You looked at me
And I wait, I feel your pull

It tingles, its like a switch
Turned on
Fire blazing, I lean in closer
My body waiting, my mind wondering
"Is it now, will it be today?"

You can't answer
You're busy, lost in thought
As you contemplate what to do
Where to touch first
Arm, finger, lips

Your eyes are desperate
Your body willing
Your mind on a quest to plot the journey ahead
It seems so long now, since you
Whispered "I am yours"

I felt then as I do now
Amazed
Bewildered
Happy
Excited
Aroused
And yet, I can't shake the feeling
That maybe, just maybe

This just won't last....
