Days go by
Over and over
Dragging on
From one pale moon
To the next.

I feel myself getting older
Wasting away
Fading from the light
As each day dies
To another day

Slowly my body wanes
The slow decay of life
But still I have
Nothing
And No one
To get me through
These nights.

All a really need
Is a fix
To get me though
From day to day
Losing the pain
For only a few
Moments.

Just a touch
Lips against my skin
A hand briefly in my hair
Warm skin pressed against me
Just a brief taste
Of a Heaven
That may never come

Come my One
Come soon
Before I lose my vision
Before I lose my hope
These days are so long
And I need you
My one.

Waiting...

This has a sad beauty to it. I think I would have left off the last stanza, but I'm playing around with sparsity at the moment.
