THE WATERFALL

As I walk thru the forest
Of evergreens so tall,
I follow the sounds
Of the distant waterfall.

It grew louder and louder
Until it became a roar,
Then I felt the mist that feeds
The ferns of the forest floor.

Soon I could feel the power
Of the furious white falls,
Cascading downwards
As nature calls.

I watched the ripples created
On the deep blue pool,
And drank of it’s waters
So refreshingly cool.

While it’s showering mist
Made my face pleasantly wet,
I watched the forests creatures
Drink as the sunset.

Yes, there is no other place
I’d rather be on earth,
For no place has more beauty
Much less more worth…BWL
