I'll never forget that day
I wanted to be here for the waves
Clear my mind from the pain
Build myself up and start over

You ambushed me, 3 O'Clock
Legs, camera, chuckle
My ship was sinking
I couldn't make it

Cornered by the mob
They told me to get a job
Baby's past due
I couldn't make it

I'll never forget that day though
Best 2 seconds ever
I could shrug off most chicks
You fucked me up

The next day, I didn't think you'd come back
But I fell into your trap
I felt like a fool
I underestimated you

The third time, attacks were regular
You were absent from the scene
I used the waves to clear my pain
And build myself up again

I'll never forget that day though
The rude strangers keep reminding me
You're mine more than I could ever imagine
If I keep coming back for the waves
