It hasn't been a long time since I last saw you,
but it seems that way just the same.
I miss your face, your voice, your hate,
and all the stupid things it makes you say.

I miss the way you were always wrong,
the way you lied so quickly without regret.
I miss the way you fake your smiles,
the way brush aside all valid doubts.

I miss the praise you gave so freely
to yourself, but never once to me.
I miss the way you used to mock my dreams
as if I were too stupid to be allowed them.

But I really miss the way you stabbed me in the back
and left the knife stuck in my spine.
You were the best freind a boy could ever hope to have.
Without you, I would have never no pain.

And for that I have to thank you.
You have shown me whole new worlds of hate.
Without you I could have been happy and free,
And we both know I don't need that.
