she knew what a wolf was
and she knew
how she trembled
when his eyes drifted over her
and those teeth!
oh those teeth!
from the first moment of connection
how they shined
like diamonds in the sky
so bright she couldn't look away
even when the claws came out
suddenly afire
with unbridled, intoxicating potential
colors intensified
senses sharpened
until Him she hadn't even noticed
how flowers filled the forest
and now she saw nothing but
outside the door
she paused a moment
to reflect
was she such a character
worthy of ruthless pursuit
and destruction
or was that just a fairy tale?
pretending to be
what society expected of her
she remained unfazed
politely remarking
each of his dominant features
Yet in the moment of truth
he wasn't the only one gratified
as she found those teeth
as exhilarating as she'd imagined
