below our earthly feet
touching, held down to nothing
as firm as God
tied down by her long black hair

she is shade
her position in sky
her placement in all things
our low human perception
sees only cool, heat and micro

so men alone in faux log homes
scrawl ideas
see snow out windows
wanting Rio Real,
falling down stairs instead

Wow- what a debut....

A powerful poem with strongly invoked sentiments. Well done. Keep writing.

I cannot stop reading

the first eight lines of this poem are so strong, their gravity kept pulling my eyes back up
