The lord shows youth no quarter
Friends are foolishly flayed on the vestibule
By a grand design they lead themselves to the slaughter.
Is this what it means to be so young?

Trials, tests and torture consume my thought
In the day’s cold breeze my face, my heart; my nature reflects the weather’s
Kith fall around me succumbing to the seduction of suicide, it’s what they sought!
Why can’t I dream of the darkness they did?

Age is all over my skin turning me into another man
Those in graves, those looking in and about to join them never change,
There may never be a martyr to finish what you began.
Is it my unknown purpose to put people in purgatory?

If it is then gouge out my eyes quickly!
I can’t bear to see another loved one go so quietly
Use anything be it blunt, blade or bone just make it sickly
So I know it’s done, I will only have to remember crimson as my curse.

There are no more questions that can be offered up
You’ve been thanked, begged, loved and adored.
But I will bless you now with this bloodied cup
Place it to your lips and take just one sup.

Sorry...

I was thinking of Sith...Kith is a town on Naboo in Star Wars Galaxies though, which confused me.

So nevermind.

Wow!

Extremely powerful stuff...was thrown off a bit by your use of the word 'kith'. Although it is a good ancient word, I am thinking of the Star Wars use of the word Kith.

Other than that, brilliant.
