she laid the ladle with silken grace
gazed across the table liken calm seas
passion in portions, a bowl for each emotion
above the mountain of rice danced ghostly streams

she reveled in his poised silence
eating lettuce like a cow eats patience grass
allowing the tongue to grapple with every flavor
chewing slowly, digesting every thought that pass

ying yang print adorns matching silk kimonos
he's the candle, the spoon, and silent wisdom
she's the flame, a sizzling skillet of soft words
he's the hungry tiger, she's the rhythmic dragon

reaching over, she filled his empty tea cup half full
he looks up from his sushi with eyes pearl blue
his hand reaches out and falls softly upon hers
she slights a smile and replies, "I love you too!"

Awww.

Not much to say other than that it's really sweet. Hooray!
