I hear my child’s laughter and its like a song.
A song I could play all day long.
I look into their eyes and see the love reflected there.
They worship me as perfect, they don’t care.

I am their mother and that’s all they know.
I can do no wrong,
I help them grow.

They love with all their hearts,
Knowing from them I will not willingly part.
Their love unwavering and true,
Of deceit and misrepresentation they have no clue.

For them I can be whatever they need me to be.
For now I will just be Mom.
The person they love and can always count on,
To be there always and forever on.
