They don't care about you.

All those girls,
made up girls,
no name girls,
hungry girls,
deaf girls,
cold hearted girls.

You call them any name you want.
You laugh at their silly jokes.
You note their misspelled emails.
You drive them to your place.
You share your fantasies.
You take them hard.

But, I told you, my darling
They don't care about you

They don't know your fear
of hearing 'I love you'.
They don't care if you prefer
your tea scalding hot.
They won't notice
your fainted whisper when you come
"You're mine."
My love, they couldn't care less
about your new guitar.
They possibly can't laugh
at your witty jokes.
I am sure as hell they won't remember
your name,
the one I absentmindedly write
on every surface available.

Sweetie,
They don't care about you.
I do.
