Thirsty, I long to drink.
and look to you,
hands bound,
body bound,
unsteady.

Throat dry,
I turn to you,
as your supplicant,
asking for the mercy
of cold bottled water.
The cool plastic edge rests against my lip,
water, like fluid nirvana tickles into my throat,
I have to dip, bending my knees to drink.
I yield.
Acquiesce.
Give in.
And that is sweeter than the water,
filling a deeper need than my thirst
across my lips.

The bottle goes to your lips,
and I watch riveted.

You offer another sip,
this one warmer,
painfully intimate.
Warm lips press to mine,
and I yield and take your taste into me with the water.
It diffuses and makes me shiver,
drinking you in,
I swallow my submission
and reach a deeper place.
