[after Jose Francisco Borges]

This Eden lives in our hearts.
Divine embraces expanding,
like this moment,
into eternity.

Thoughts melt away
with our clothes,
hiding in the trees,
shamed by our innocence.

Beneath the moon and stars,
beneath this green canopy,
there are no forbidden fruits.

Just two souls joined, and free.
