This is what it's like for them to walk away

Even though there's so many words left to say
Two people so perfect for each other
We were complete halves of a whole
No one could fit me any better
I swear he was my twin soul
Talking about marriage and a family
Our future was all but set
Until he rejected our love
How easy it was for him to forget
The memories are always there
Floating around in my head
Everything reminds me of him
All the sweet things he did and said
