The image in my head. Never fading.
Lost my soul. Always waiting.
I left it there. It's gone forever.
In the streets it calls my name.
In the air it feels my shame.
Leaves fall, the trees are crying.
The flower wilts, the memory dying.
The children play in my shadow. The walls stand tall.
They never fall, they never fall.
Dear god, they never fall.
I am empty.
This place fills me.
This is my soul.
