I am a dancer all alone
Twist and twirl away
Your smile still sings the music
A sweet violin it plays

I spin around my world
Sometimes going way too fast
Dancing barefoot in the darkness
Of the shadows that I cast

Since first I saw your face
A lantern in the night
Drawn with no shame
A flutter to the light

A slow enticing dance
Held on wings of fire
Hoping to be let inside
My will never tired

I am a dancer all alone
Longing for a chance
To be encompassed and embraced
An end to my spiral dance
