"This thing that some call Love"
By: Imking

It whispers through the trees at night
It strikes so hard you lose your sight
Hearts flutter like hummingbirds wings in flight
This thing that some call Love

It warms you on a winters day
It makes you laugh like kids at play
Sometimes you don't know what to say
This thing that some call Love

It holds you in its powerful grip
It spins your mind like Dorothy's trip
and then it stands you lip to lip
This thing that some call Love

But there is more that you should know
It chills your heart like winters snow
It leaves you with no place to go
This thing that some call Love

It breaks your heart and makes you cry
It makes you wish that you could die
You often wonder why you try
This thing that some call Love

So take the trip and don't look back
but listen for that deadly crack
it always is a sneak attack
this thing that some call love
