Memories of Yankee Stadium. So many legends in such a grand palladium.

The Babe, Lou Gehrig. Lou's courage in the face of tragedy was quite a classy gig.

Joe Dimaggio, Phil Rizzuto, men of honor. They served in World War II willingly. All the while, with amazing humility.

They had their dream team; Billy Martin, Mickey Mantle, Roger Marris, Whitey Ford. They always struck a wondrous chord.

Mantle lead their team and was always their dream. All of sudden, Marris was in the lead to break the Babe's home run record. Who ever believed the Babe would be outscored.

Reggie Jackson, Thurmon Munson and Sparky Lyle. Each generation who runs that extra mile.

Catching up to the present, we have Derek Jeter, and even had Roger Clemens and Johnny Damon. How they were flaming!

We finally said good bye to the house Ruth built but I'll always love the Yankees with no guilt.
