Stepping into class,
All my friends hunched over,
By the window,
All gazing and peering,
Unmoving, motionless,
My teacher petrified, mouth a gape,
Principal came in and smacked,
Reviving my teacher,
Then leading us into the dark abyss,
Clouds billowing, sirens blaring,
Mind blank legs frozen,
Feet rooted, eyes mesmerized,
Gazing upon the utter chaos,
Flames consuming with unsatisfying hunger,
Using its intense blue teeth,
Tearing away into the metal,
Unrelenting, unmerciful towards its bounty of victims,
The planes howling and roaring pounding,
Into the inferno, Chaos mounting,
Mind is wiped,
Of all happy memories,
Mind fills with hate, distrust,
Life the greatest illusion,
Questioning if life is so sacred,
Life is power, life is everything,
Yet thousands were stolen before my very eyes,
Life is nothing more than glass and all glass breaks,
Like all humans will do one day…

Good with a potential of being better.

With extensive editing, I believe this would be a powerful piece of writing.
