life
a swirling disarray of unfathomably uncountable, innumerably inconceivable variables
an explosion of creation
yet a perfect embodiment of entropy
the chaos, the disorder, the decay our universe pulses towards...
And yet it is the unbridled joy of flight...
Breathing power, luxuriating chill and emotion.
A rush and a freefall into an endless mesh of sea and sky, or a headlong, sideways tumble into greenest grass and lushest laughter...
The softest kiss, a chance meet of souls...
In verdant pasture grant us repose...
With that spark that
overspilling
the product of the rarest variables combined and called forth to fight the force of death
Swimming almost fruitlessly against the current, inching towards the shore
Building the sand castles cruel, crashing waves wash away
timeless and senseless waves, enforcing the law of the land
the Physic of our World
the Pull of the Universe
that of indomitable decay
of endless entropy
Why do we scorn the inevitable?
Who are we to fight the pull, the tides of change?
Vessels are we.
Fragile paper vessels, ceremoniously formed and set adrift amid an aimless sea
Yet with us we guard the light of life
be it love
be it wisdom
be it happiness or health
be it the yang of production to the yin of decay
the yang of integrity to the yin of entropy
the yin of inner peace to the yang of constant chaos
the yin of change to the yang of determined destruction...
We bear that light till, our paper hulls soggy, we dip below the surface and forget...
forget...
the tides of change...

The Pull of your Poem

Is highly rated by the Physics of my Universe !

I really like the imagery of the paper boats at the end. The use of entropy throughout feels almost as though the whole piece is being pulled into chaos. Liked it!
