Dreams are made,
And never fade.
Each year that goes by,
is so very dear.
Most do not understand,
How very fast,
The years can fly past.
Each year,
we have with our child,
is so dear,
And seems so mild.
Until the day,
They go away.
Yet we will stay,
for another day.
Then I look at you,
And whisper too.
You were the best dad,
A kid could ever have.
