............TIME........

Time is meant to take away
all of our yesterdays
And turn them into our
"tomorrow's"

As i watched an eagle fly
time stood still
as in my mind it stays
Like an x-ray of my heart
taking away my sorrows

Live each day
like you were dyeing
While compromising
along the way
playing under the clouds
for each new day

Sometimes the hardest thing to do
is to do nothing at all
But when the search is for "ones-self"
it is a noble call

Getting rid of all the little pimples
that try to block my path way
Casting my hexes
with the words I have to say

With the footprints of the past
leaving prints on the future
Everyone choosing their own path
as tomorrow is nurtured

It begins where it ends
into nothingness
Whispering images unlocked
from time and distance,
nothing less

Like a night mare born
from my deepest fear
Coming to me unguarded
as a new day is near

If you lie down with the devil
you will wake up in hell
But you can wear a robe
to hide that tail
Because with time
a new day is about to sail

Good bye yesterday
hello tomorrow
the dove the bird of peace
And the bird of love the
swallow
