So gentle my eyes on the far curves of time and let the mountains cast their shadows.
The lake allows for changes.
Seek the distance carried on wings of the wind—and the eagle who hunts the far reaches.
I would allow for this vision.
I would gift it to you.
So gentle my mind on the curve of your shoulder and let the mountains cast their burden.
The forest allows for seasons.

Listen for songs that live with the ocean and sing them back to me in a voice of reason.
The shore allows for the tide.
Show me the distance that's carried in the soft sound of rain falling on still water.
I would allow for this music
and sing it back to you..
So gentle my voice with the curve of your shoulder and let the moon exert its pull.
The seaside allows for all lovers.
