Take an hour and split it apart,
Separate into equal parts,
Or a day if an hour's not enough,
You'll see, it's really not that tough.
Each tiny section can be seen,
As a time apart, not the mean,
As a time apart, a time alone,
Set in parchment, better yet stone.
What to do with this piece of time,
Good or bad, its impact so fine,
Add up the good times through the day,
And form a belief? I say Nay!
Each moment can be meaningful,
A fragment amply more truthful,
So you see, what's often distinct,
Is more than the total, succinct.
I know what this is...
Time is a wonderful thing, good or bad...
Takes us on a ride that we each have to decide.
What will I do with what I am given...
What will I make happen...
Time, is what you make it,
be strong, happy, and do it all,
in time...
that each moment is important and begs to stand on its own merit deserves more weight than I get here- the rhyming to me is too bouncy.
