Untamed joy in her pure smile renews the yearn of youth.
Youth destroys the hostile sting and seeks the perfect truth.

Truth ingrained on winsome nights as spring froths into zeal.
Zeal found in her ardent gaze that paints love as surreal.

Surreal caresses through the dawn arouse her pulse to race.
Racing flesh of two entwined steam life in warm embrace.

Embrace of hope pursuing fire as peaks incite the flame.
Flame to make the solstice roar and spark the pyre untamed.

*******
This is a rewrite of a previously submitted poem.

I dedicate my humble attempts at verse to my love, who suffers from a disabling condition where the body attacks itself--Multiple Sclerosis. My love is courageous and moves me to express, but I can't do the feelings in my heart justice.

Nice

I love the form you chose and I love how you pulled it into the buildup and crescendo.
