What am I to you, or you to me?
Bits of thought and light,
Over how many thousands of miles of
Fiber Optic Cord.
How much more beatiful those shining strands
Than our actual corpal forms?
If we should meet,
By design or accident,
You would shudder and turn away,
I know it.
Or grin politely and chat,
for the sake of all the chats we'd had
But...
My face and form and figure don't match
My mind my heart and soul
And,
I strongly suspect
Nor does yours.
So let us instead, agree to remain unseen,
thought to thought, mind to mind, heart to heart
And still
Unknown.
