Please let me kiss you before you pull away.
I've been starving for you forever and a day.
You don't even notice me I can't get a glance.
Yet I just keep hoping that someday I'll get a chance.

To breathe you into me and hold you in.
To feel you surround me to feel you within.
To look into your eyes and know that you are mine.
To see you smile at me and know everything is fine.

But these are just dreams never to come true.
My reality sets in and my dreams are few.
This can never happen I know deep in my heart.
Love is a test and I'm not very smart.
