To lay here and sleep…
Not even could I think such a thought!
I could almost weep…
Because hold you, I can not!

You are far away….
Not to return, till late tomorrow!
Much to my dismay…
All I can feel is sorrow!

Knowing that I need you so much…
Needing you lying here by my side!
Longing for your sensuous touch…
My heart filling with pride!

Then realizing, with much joy…
I want to cry out with glee!
Like a kid with a new toy…
Soon you will return to me!!

Can’t wait for you to get back…
If I had a magic lamp, surely I would rub!
Don’t even bother to unpack…
I want to express to you my love!!

The can’t eat, can’t sleep…
That part I know to be true!
Not any amount, counting, nor even multiplying sheep…
Could make rest easier, without saying first, I LOVE YOU!!
