I remember you when we were still best friends
And I was hurt or crying or alone,
It's was as easy as picking up the phone
To hear you voice, to know you cared.

Now I look around me,
and I don't see you anywhere.
Because since we said good byes,
On that faithful Graduation day
We promised we'd stay in touch,
That nothing would ever change.

Now it's 3 years later and
your promise you did not keep
You moved away and left me here to
rot in this stupid rundown city.

I live in the past and you the present.
How I wish things could have been different.
I miss you my best friend whenever you may be
Soon our reunion will come,
Then maybe we can finally speak.
