For a dear friend... Con Amore

You know the path I've followed
Just as you know where my heart is
And you know what lies within it
You have the freedom to enter, and roam,
Within my mind, bringing light...
While seeking the dark and hidden corners...

She has seen the corners of my soul
That no one else has seen...
For she truly knows my soul inside out
She knows the quiet ways to let me
Know she is near... and from her
I have or feel no fear.

We are kindred spirits, she and I...
For in ways, I am you
And you are me...
Don't you see?

I cannot, nor will not, forget the one
I have called my Silky Shadow...
For she truly knows me...
And knows me well.
We are connected, I know not how or why
But she has taught me not to question...
Where and when normally I would...

She knows, through our quiet
And innate connection, sometimes
With just a few words being exchanged
When I am in deep sorrow...
Or when I am deeply hurt
And I soon come to her
Or she to me... bringing quiet solace.

It may be just a few simple words
Or the simple act of soothing the
Other's troubled brow... while one
Quietly shushs the other... thus
Allowing the mind to still and
Become quiet once again.

Just as I can sense, from her words,
When she is in need of the comfort
Or solace that I may provide to her.
From her words, I know her mind...
Just as she does mine.

I am truly blessed by her and with her
For I am she... and she is me...
Don't you see?
At times she speaks for me
And I for she...

We are each other...
Don't you see?

To PJ

Thank you...

When one speaks from the heart about the way someone touches their soul... the words just seem to flow.

Silky has come to mean much to me... in a myriad of ways.

There is not any one specific way... there are a multitude

of ways.

To SirWinston54

SirWinston:

I only just now found your comments and praise, and am deeply honoured. Knowing what Silky means to you, your praise, that one so unworthy as I, could "show" another, or others, a way of understanding... I consider high praise indeed.

Thank you for your words, and the feelings behind them. I continue to wish you well, and may happiness fill your lives... both of you.
