Don’t curse me in your sleep
Don’t call my name when I’m not looking
Don’t breath on me when I’m not awake
Don’t make love to me when I’m dreaming.

I don’t want to be a doll in your dark castle
I don’t want to see your endless night.
I don’t want to wonder if you are real
or just a ghost.

At night, don’t nibble at my flesh
for my blood’s warmth won’t bring you to life.
Don’t leave sweet poems on my bedside
macabre tears on walls, carved with shards.

Don’t smell my hair
the rose I sleep with is not for you
Don't stare
shamelessly when I'm bare.

Don’t rearrange my desk
to have things your way.
Don’t blow out the candles
to see me better.

Don't crave me
like a lion in heat
Don't try to read my thoughts
when I close my eyes.

Don't graze against me
when I'm standing
don't pull my finger
in jest.

Our worlds are forbidden
Is that why you love me so?
Take me or forget me.
I am yours.
