quietly declared
these words hold my truest feelings
from my heart to yours

when your lips speak it
my name is like a caress
you kisses are sweet

laughter has its place
and true do all other things
we know passion too

quiet strength and comfort
in your arms I can find myself
shelter harbor peace

soft skin and soft voice
slow and gentle counterpoint
you are my dear love
