I swung the car door closed and walked through
the parkinglot. I was thirsty and ready for a beer.It was
Friday night and the restaurants were beginning to come alive.
I had my clothes fitting just right as I walked into the scene.
Walking under the redlight and into the everyone's dark blue room
I could feel the must of stale food and beer. No one noticed
as I moved through the music to order dinner. I ate the burger
and drank the beer. Lots of people that night. In one corner
a young girl and guy were noshing together with themselves.
Young and firm bite by bite for everyone and no one to see.
They are subble and ripe and eagar and private. Their
fulfillment an imagination not far away. At a table two men
were talking roughly sweet to each other. Amid the smiles and
cackles was the tender touching of each others bodies.
Their hearts were throbbing, aching for the expectations to come
later. They sit joyous in a crowd. Two women parade on by,holding
hands as a sign of strength and unity. The meaningfulness of their
look shows a much deeper feeling than friendship.Their sensual
bodies are masked for now by the sleekless clothes they wear.
The attractiveness and longing they don't show in public will soon
be exposed one to the other later that night. I ordered another
and tried not to be like most people sitting, smilling, waiting.
I finished paid my tab and made my way to the parking lot.
A passerby asked"what's going on inside". I said "not much I've
already been there . It stinks"
