What photogenic toddlers
-baby breath cannon fodder
(tell me when)
i hope you enjoy the fallout

Pullout Gaza strip
right to the bone
& shave our heads at gunpoint

Milk this till
your blue in the face

Go on

hold the ham overboard

watch 'em wiggle & waif

crinkle chaif

Dialing back

Dialing back

uncurling

always changing the tune

(You make the water
electric &

the

air burrrrn)

Unacceptable target dates -learn to unlearn

(you make

the skys recede

the hilltops scroll)

& Throw the suds OUT

Crawl baby crawl

crawl

(and tell me WHEN)

hope

you

enjoy

the

fall

out

I didn't clean everythi ng

up just so you could rain on our parade

love your crazy phrasing and original word choices, you have an off the beaten path style that is a pleasure.

Grown up babies in the battle field

Confess to being intrigued by: 1. references to withdrawal from Gaza 2. Strong resemblance (have you read?) to YEhuda Amichai Iconic poem which uses that chilling image of crawling babies then attaches it directly to the combat field. If you have, I'd say it's an honor (imho) to be influenced by him if not do me a favor and read his poems. I am POSITIVE that you will like them. MANY of them were translated into English. <P>

On the other hand I confess to being confused by the poem but maybe I’ll have better luck on another read. Oh, the name of the poem is "God has mercy on the kindergarten’s children".
