You should have known better
writing him love letters.
You robbed him of his innocence
your friendship was a pretense.
He was naïve
to believe
love could exist
in something so illicit as this.
You've confused this young creature.
There is a limit between student and teacher.
Now they've put you away
He is no longer your prey.
Your reputation shattered
You lost everything that mattered.
He'll go on.
When you are free he'll be gone.
His perception of affection has faded
He is now jaded.
What were you thinking of?
He was too young for love.

Wow!

Very powerful, and certainly in tune with the times.
