I see her standing there every day
Still wanting to hold her in every way
I'm bound by honor no longer to touch
Desire still burns without lessening much
My heart still calls her name at night
Every time I close my eyes she's in my sight
Even though she's no longer mine
Recalling the taste of her lips like a fine wine
She is the only one who saw my soul
And she is the only one who could make me whole
My heart says yes, my honor says no
Forever torn between two ways to go
I'll always be in love with her now
Ever wanting to retract a previously made vow
